How can a Georgia Bulldog fan like me, LOVE a ghastly shirt that represents the hated yuck-orange Tennessee Volunteers?  It’s simple.  I’m a sucker for cool graphics, logo’s and uniforms.   The current Vols logo is not cool to me.  It’s too generic, bland and just boring!  The “Davy Crockett” logo that Tennessee used from 1983 to 1996 makes me think of the checkerboard end zone.  It makes me want to start singing “Good Ol’ Rocky Top.”  It makes me think of the “King of the Wild frontier!”

REMEMBER THE ALAMO!

REMEMBER THE ALAMO!

Born on a mountain top in Tennessee, Greenest state in the land of the free.  Raised in the woods so’s he knew every tree, Killed him a bear when he was only three.  Davy, Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier.

One more verse!

He fought single handed through the Injun war, Till the creeks was whipped and peace was restored.  And while he was handling this risky chore, Made himself a legend, forevermore.  Davy, Davy Crockett, the man who don’t know fear!

I forgot to mention that every Distant Replays Branded shirt is soft, comfortable, durable, and gives you a retro feel like no other piece of apparel on the planet!  ENJOY!!
