CLAWED THEIR WAY UP

CLAWED THEIR WAY UP

With Rivals week in full swing on the college basketball hardwood, I thought it might be a good time for another TOP TEN LIST!

We all know how rabid fans can be when supporting their teams, and wearing the proper attire to show that support is of the utmost importance.  I’ve scoured the AP Top 25 and present you with ten shirts for ten ranked teams.  Might as well be ranked # 1 for fashion sensibility and rep your team with a Distant Replays shirt, right?

Let’s do this top ten before David Letterman gets any ideas….

SPECIAL K

SPECIAL K

10. # 17 BYU Cougars: BYU legend Danny Ainge would be proud of this classic.

9. # 20 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: A “helluva engineer” must have designed this logo.

8. # 15 New Mexico  Lobos: With a win over UNLV last night, the Lobos have officially put their footprint on first place in the Mountain West Conference.

7. # 3 Kentucky Wildcats: One of the few Kentucky shirts that does not have an interlocking UK, or Wildcat logo.  Sometimes simple is super.

6. # 14 Texas Longhorns: Have lost 5 of their last 7 games, but rust never sleeps and they will bounce back. Bevo on the sleeve a nice touch.

5. # 24 Baylor Bears: The Bear face on this shirt really exemplifies the

Bears style of play this year; FIERCE.

4. # 1 Kansas Jayhawks: These are definitely the biggest boys on the block right now, thus bold block letters suit them, and will suit you too.

3. # 9 Kansas State Wildcats: “Your not getting older, your getting better.”  That saying certainly applies to the retro K-State logo featured on this timeless image.

2. # 10 Michigan State Spartans: Magic Johnson is not going to walk through that door, but wearing the 1979 Final Four Championship shirt might breathe some life back into the recent sputtering Spartans.

1. # 12 Tennessee Volunteers: I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; I LOVE THIS SHIRT
